Ahane U12 Girls Football Fixture List 2011

Ahane Girls U12′s kick-off their season on April 1st with a home game against St. Brigid’s.  Indeed the fixtures list is both challenging and stamin sapping with games fixed for pretty much every Friday during April and May and June.

U10 Girls Football Blitz 2010

Ahane Ladies Football Club hosted their Annual Under 10 Football Blitz in Ahane G.A.A. pitch on Sunday, 24 October, with teams from Adare, St Ailbes, Mungret, Monaleen, St Bridget’s and Ahane taking part.  In glorious sunshine, each team played each other once, playing five matches.  It was great to see so many clubs taking part, with players of such a

In an open and exciting game of football played in glorious condition in front of large home support Ahane girls performed heroically but eventually succumbed to a very good counterattacking  Adare side who were just that bit more efficient in converting the chances that came their way.  Despite having  the superior possession, Ahane trailed at the interval 2-0 to 0-1 and try as they might their luck and time ran out to leave Adare deserved winners on a scoreline 3-3 to 1-4.

U12 Girls Football Rnd 4 – Ahane Girls get the better of Ballylanders

Ahane U12 girls did the parish proud this evening with a well deserved win against a sporting Ballylanders side. Played in brilliant sunshine in Newgarden our girls dominated to lead 2-1 to 1-2 at the interval, then with the aid of the second half breeze they added another two goals and a point and held Ballylanders to a solitary goal to win on a final scoreline 4-2 to 2-2.  Continue reading U12 Girls Football Rnd 4 – Ahane Girls get the better of Ballylanders

U10 Girls Football Ahane Draw with Monaleen

Ahane and Monaleen girls served up a very exciting game this evening to end all square 1-1 a piece. U14 Girls Football Ahane Hold Out Against Monaleen
