Ahane U21A East Football Champions 2011

Our Ahane lads had a comprehensive win against a gallant Cappamore side to claim the East U21A football title this Sunday. Played in good conditions in Boher Ahane led 2-7 to nil at the interval. Despite the poor weather conditions throughout this East Junior A football in Cappamore this afternoon, both teams served up a scoring feast and Kilteely held off a determined Ahane challenge and were full value for their win.

Ahane lads produced their best performance this season with a  gritty, workmanlike performance to give them a deserved win this against a gallant Ballybricken side. Heartbreak for U12 Girls in Football Final v Old Mill

Ahane 1-6 Old Mill 3-3

Our Ahane girls suffered heartbreak  as Old Mill came from behind to steal the match with a last gasp goal in an exciting Novice B Final played in Pallaskenry this evening. Trailing by a solitary point at the interval, our girls came from behind to lead the match entering the last few minutes.
