U10 Girls Football Blitz 2010

Ahane Ladies Football Club hosted their Annual Under 10 Football Blitz in Ahane G.A.A. pitch on Sunday, 24 October, with teams from Adare, St Ailbes, Mungret, Monaleen, St Bridget’s and Ahane taking part. In glorious sunshine, each team played each other once, playing five matches. It was great to see so many clubs taking part, with players of such a

EAST SENIOR HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP 4th MAY, 2010

On Tuesday, 4th May the Senior hurlers played Round 3 of the East Senior Hurling Championship against Murroe-Boher in Murroe. U12 Girls Football Rnd 4 – Ahane Girls get the better of Ballylanders

Ahane U12 girls did the parish proud this evening with a well deserved win against a sporting Ballylanders side. Played in brilliant sunshine in Newgarden our girls dominated to lead 2-1 to 1-2 at the interval, then with the aid of the second half breeze they added another two goals and a point and held Ballylanders to a solitary goal to win on a final scoreline 4-2 to 2-2. Ahane 2-10 St.Colmans 1-5 Rnd 2 Premier Minor Football

Ahane 2-10 St.Colmans 1-5

Ahane Minor footballers got their championship off to a flying start with a well deserved victory against St. Colmans (combination of Askeaton-Ballysteen and St.Kierans) in this second round fixture. UNDER 21 HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP V PALLASGREEN.
