Ahane 4-1 Monaleen 1-8
A great second half revival saw our girls score no less than four goals to give us a slender victory against battling Monaleen in this third round match played in Newgarden. At half-time Monaleen deservedly led 1-3 to 0-1 but from the resumption, Ahane playing more direct and defending throughout the pitch got back on level terms, and then went ahead. In the last ten minutes Monaleen had the best opportunities but were thwarted by an Ahane team in determined mood.
