April 18th Fixtures for the week ahead

In the Junior Hurling League Ahane will play Doon this Thursday night at 7 pm. in Doon.

On Friday night, Ahane Minor Hurlers will play Murroe/Boher at 7 p.m. in Murroe.

Ahane Senior Hurlers will play South Liberties in the East Senior Hurling Championship probably this Saturday evening in Dooley Park. Please check with Secretary for definitive fixture.

Ahane Under 21 Hurlers will play Patrickswell on Tuesday next at 7 p.m. in Mackey Park.

April 15th – GAA VHI Cul Camp Notice

The GAA VHI Cul Camp will take place in Ahane this year from Monday, 12th July to Friday, 16th July, 2010 from 10.00 a.m. to 2.30 each day and is open to boys and girls aged 7 to 13 years of age. Bookings can be made at VHI.ie/Cul Camps and parents are advised to book early as Ahane is a particularly popular camp with huge numbers attending each year. Bookings can also be made by contacting Ahane Bord na nOg Chairman, Mark Brophy. Cost: One child €55, Second Child €45, Third & subsequent children €35. This is one of the best value camps as each child will receive Jersey, Shorts, Socks, Sports Bag in addition to expert coaching by qualified GAA Coaches.

April 13th – La na gClub Notice

La na gClub will take place again this year on Sunday, 9th May commencing with Mass in Ahane Church at 11.00 a.m. followed by numerous activities in the field in the afternoon. Further details will be available nearer the date.
